Michael J. Gasdick, Esquire, President
Mr. Gasdick was born in McKeesport, PA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Police Science from Pennsylvania State University in 1973. He was admitted to Florida Bar in 1979 when he joined A. J. Stanton, Jr. P.A. In 1987, Stanton & Gasdick, P.A. was formed.
He received his Juris Doctor from University of Pittsburgh in 1979. He is a member of the Florida State Bar (Member, Real Property, and Commercial Law Section), Orange County Bar and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Gasdick has handled the purchase, sale and financing of hundreds of complex real estate transactions. He is an approved agent for Attorney’s Title Insurance Fund, Commonwealth Insurance Company and Chicago Title Insurance Company. Mr. Gasdick represents Banks, Credit Unions and private mortgage companies and is familiar with lending practices and issues regarding RESPA and HUD compliance. His practice areas include: Business (including formation of entities including Limited Liability Companies), Transactional, Banking, Real Estate, Landlord/Tenant, Debtor/Creditor, Foreclosure, and Timeshare Law.
August J. Stanton, Jr., Esquire, Vice President
Mr. Stanton was born in Montclair, NJ. He was admitted to Florida Bar in 1971. Mr. Stanton is the founder of the firm and created Stanton & Gasdick, P.A. in 1987 with Michael Gasdick. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1967 and his Juris Doctor in 1970 from University of Florida. Mr. Stanton received his LLM in Taxation from New York University in 1971.
He is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, the Florida State Bar (Member, Sections on: Taxation; Real Property; Family Law) and the American Bar Association (Member, Sections on: International Law, Taxation, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law).
Mr. Stanton is a developer of timeshare property, rental property, restaurants, liquor stores and television stations. He was a producer of television series and miscellaneous entertainment related events. His practice areas include: International, Real Estate, Commercial, Corporations and other entities, Timeshare, and Entertainment Law with limited general practice for selected client.
